Beautiful alternatives to traditional Funeral Ceremonies

My name is Lita Hallyburton. I write and conduct Funeral Services throughout West and North Yorkshire, Greater Manchester, and Lancashire.

Each Ceremony is individually written and created to honour the person who has died, in a dignified and fitting tribute, focusing on everything that made them special and unique.
The ceremonies I create with you are totally independent of either any religious or humanist organization.
My values are integral to the Ceremonies I deliver and are inclusive toward all peoples and diverse communities
A Funeral Service is a vital part of beginning to heal from your loss, and so this End of Life Ceremony has two purposes – firstly to celebrate the life of your loved one, and secondly to sensitively acknowledge your deepest sadness at this time.
People have their own ideas about life and religion, spirituality, and death, and not everybody wants traditional religious funerals.
You may want close friends or family member to participate in the Service

When someone you love dies you want their life to be commemorated in a respectful, sensitive, accurate way.
Far from being somber, the Ceremonies I create are positive and uplifting. You will find great comfort in providing a Ceremony your loved one would have wanted.
Whatever your wishes and requirements are, I will work closely with you and your chosen Funeral Directors or Crematorium to ensure that you say goodbye to your loved one in the way that you and they would wish

When you contact Civil Ceremony NorthWest a home visit will be arranged so that you can described the Service details and share information for the personal eulogy.
A draft Copy of Service is emailed to you prior to the Service date for any amendments
You may also want to consider requesting an Order of Service leaflet. You may want a photograph of your loved one on this.
A final Copy of Service is sent to you after the Service
These individual life centred Funeral Ceremonies are beautiful and unique, and are for people who want something more personal and meaningful than a traditional Ceremony.

To enable me to create the ceremony you wish, it is helpful for me to get to know as much as possible about the person who has died, as each ceremony is different and highly individual. This helps to make the occasion more personal & special.
This information is usually gathered by me making a home visit to you, but if necessary this can be done via the phone, fax or email.

I look forward to speaking with you and meeting you soon, and with any family or friends whom you want to be involved in preparing the ceremony.

Should you have any questions prior to our meeting, or are yet undecided as to whether or not you want this type of service, please do not hesitate to contact me…in Hebden Bridge
